2010 Custom Van der Graff gaff schooner ATLANTIC65m

Three-masted Van der Graaf gaff schooner, designed by William Gardner, ATLANTIC is the largest classic racing schooner ever to be recreated. She is a replica of the famous schooner built for Wilson Marshal, and helmed by Charly Barr.

Her owner was determined for her to be the way she was when she wrote history in 1905, her original lines were honored to the finest detail and her sail plan is identical to that of the victorious 1905 Transatlantic Race which made her immortal in the yachting history. Above all, ATLANTIC is again breathtakingly beautiful, turning heads wherever the wind takes her.

Her graceful sheer line and long overhangs accentuate her grace while her waterline length of 42 meters and narrow beam are a promise of unmatched speed under sail. Her spars tower some 45 meters above the waterline and support a staggering sail area of 1750 msq, more than two and a half times that of the already awesome J-Class yachts.

ATLANTIC arrangement sleeps up to 12 guests in six staterooms, three double and three twin. She is also capable of carrying up to 12 crew on board in seven cabins. Timeless styling, beautiful furnishings and sumptuous seating feature throughout to create an elegant and comfortable atmosphere.

In 2011 ATLANTIC won the "World Superyacht Awards" as the best sailing yacht in 45m+ range.
