One of the most striking Sunseeker 73 Manhattan’s ever to leave the prestigious Sunseeker shipyard. Built in 2012 and delivered in 2014 for an existing 4 time Sunseeker owner, this vessel has been customised for long range cruising the Australian coastlines.
Her striking design flows all the way to the waterline, whilst her custom fitted fixed fully enclosed Bimini with Carbon Fibre inlay adds to the stunning exterior and exemplify the attention to detail throughout.
“Sogni D’oro” was highly specified from the outset, featuring numerous additional extras such as; extended flybridge, dining arrangement, hydraulic rise and fall platform, Gyro Stabilization System, two generators, teak decking on the flybridge, 55” LCD TV, wine cooler, washer dryer and an upgraded crew quarters fitted out to the same standards as all main cabins, collectively making this a true 5 cabin 10 berth vessel.
Her interior was specified with the assistance of one of Sunseeker’s highest interior designers. Her satin black American walnut cabinetry is complimented with cream leather sofa’s and soft furnishings thus creating a very prestigious feeling throughout.
The aft cockpit features a teak table with seating for up to 8 guests alongside a wet bar that houses an electric coolbox and ice maker. As you step through the seamless sliding patio doors (no step!) we find a capacious saloon with a large lounge area for guests and a rise and fall 55” LCD TV. Further forward is a fixed dining area for up to 8 guests directly opposite the large open galley. The galley houses a full height fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave oven, electric hobs as well as additional refrigeration. Forward of the dining and galley is the helm area and the port side features another u-shaped seating area for guests to relax whilst onboard.
The lower deck is accessed via a beautifully designed curved staircase in stainless steel and American walnut. Accommodating up to 9 guests in 4 cabins the layout of the Sunseeker 73 Manhattan is incredibly versatile. The master cabin is located aft and features a walk-in wardrobe, a spacious master en-suite and shower comparable to most homes. The clever design places the master bed away from the engine room bulkhead thus further reducing the sound during the evening when sleeping at anchor with the generator running. The master cabin also boasts a comfortable sofa to the starboard side and a desk/vanity area to the port side. The large opening portholes fill the space with natural light and further enhance this already stunning vessel.
The forward VIP cabin boasts a full height wardrobe, incredibly large portholes, vanity/desk area as well as a large en-suite with full-size shower. There is another double cabin located on the starboard side of the vessel between the master cabin and the VIP. The offset double bed is incredibly practical and makes the cabin feel extremely spacious throughout. The double cabin’s en-suite acts as the day head as well as the bathroom for the 4th twin cabin.
The flybridge on “Sogni D’oro” was customised to allow for a very large dining area for up to 10 guests; perfect for entertaining a large number of people onboard or you just want to have space whilst you relax watching the sunset over the horizon. Another unique feature on board is the bow sunbathing and relaxation area which has been cleverly designed and specified so that that on board can relax while facing forward due to the large seating area between the windscreen and the sunbathing area forward. A custom fitted umbrella provides shade on those hot days while the folding backrests on the sunbathing cushions make the whole space a lot more user friendly and relaxing.
“Sogni D’oro” is a truly stunning example of the Sunseeker Manhattan 73 and is, without doubt, the finest vessel in her range available currently in Australia. With only 260 hours on the main engines, this vessel was delivered new with MAN Gold Series Warranty which translates to having undergone full service schedule including a $35000 cooling system service just completed. It should be noted this vessel is berthed under cover where it has spent almost all of its time in our Sunseeker purpose built marina in Western Australia.
