RAMA was professionally built in France by the acclaimed Chantiers Maritimes de Paimpol et Fecamp in 1984 but only finally commissioned in the October 2000. Her owners wanted an easy to handle, strong yet fast aluminium yacht for extended passage making worldwide. RAMA is a round bilge, twin rudder centreboard design with twin engines. The 150 kg positive buoyant centreboard is operated by two hydraulic rams, electric and manual options and is a joy to use. The switch to operate the board is at your fingertips at the helm. She has a massively strong rig, welded chainplates and all new standing rigging in 2018.
The whole yacht was repainted in Phuket in 2018, 'International' paint and included the mast and boom.
A very strong build, the yacht is a true globe trotter and will carry 2-8 people in comfort. One owner from new and highly recommended.
