Unique opportunity to own a very special cruising yacht. Read through the detailed listing and you will see At Ease features all the right equipment, wrapped up in a functional, thoughtful layout. But a visit to the boat tells the whole picture...the level of detail and effort is what makes a Coastal Craft exceptional. The day head (yes day head), the systems space and access, the attention to finish in all areas (like the the underside of all hatches), the well engineered access to storage areas and the list goes on and on.
Furthermore, the technology employed by Coastal Craft is second to none in its class. Its incorporation of whole boat control (that actually works), Genasun Lithium Ion battery system with Victron 5 kW inverter that will power the generator and the complete Volvo package set this boat apart from the pack.
To complete the offerings, At Ease, like all Coastal Crafts is constructed of lightweight, durable aluminum finished with Awlgrip. Close inspection shows a very well faired surface, as well as the durability and shine you expect from Awlgrip.
If you are in the market for a cruising boat with traditional good looks as well as cutting edge technology, you MUST take a look at Coastal Craft.
Access to the CC45 is gained via a large swim platform bordered with hoop rails. A starboard side transom door brings you into a thoughtfully designed cockpit. It is fully enclosed with rigid Ranier panels. The enclosure along with a retracting hatch over the stairs delivers additional weather resistant living space in the cockpit. There is seating, storage, a docking station, and entertainment amenities, including lighting and an ice maker in the cockpit.
The salon is accessed through a weathertight dutch door. Immediately to starboard is the day head. Unique in a boat of this size, it is located the main level, but does also serve as the guest head for the aft cabin. The pod drives allow the machinery to move all the way aft in the boat, allowing greater utilization of the below deck space, mid-ship, for storage and systems. Opposite the head is a companionway down to a guest room with twin berths that will convert to a double berth. It is smartly laid out with natural lighting and a full locker. On the main deck two hatches along the centerline give access to storage and systems.
A large dinette is forward of the guest cabin companionway to port. It was thoughtfully designed to be raised for great visibility and convertible for additional sleeping. Opposite is the galley with side by side undercounted refrigeration, convection microwave, glass top cooktop and storage. The Corian countertop and backsplash give a light feel to the space.
Forward to port is a double mates seat with flip up chart table and more storage. The raised position offers a great vantage point for co-piloting. Opposite is the helm offering the best in equipment and even an arm rest mounted joystick!
Down the companionway you will find a beautifully finished master head, master shower and owners cabin. The berth is a generous size, and the hanging locker, drawer and cabinet storage are perfectly suited for long term cruising.
Back through the boat, the exterior of At Ease makes moving around the boat and cruising from the bridge a breeze. The side decks are accessed through steps from the cockpit up, where handrails will keep you secure the entire walk. Access to the flybridge is from stairs that rise at a gradual angle and are guided by handrails on both sides. There is literally seating for 10 on the bridge alone...and of course, Stidd Seats at the flybridge helm.
