The Com-Pac pilothouse features unbelievable interior room with tons of storage. The V berth is comfy; large enough so two can sleep with enough space left over for your favorite dog or cat (who likes to join you on those long cruises). Just aft of the V berth are two hanging lockers, one on each side. A great place to hang your foul weather gear. A curtain is provided for privacy between the forward cabin and the main salon. In the main salon (which offers 6’ standing headroom), to port, is a compact galley featuring a sink, ice box, and generous storage cabinet under the sink. There is a 20 gallon fresh water tank with a deck fill. Included with the boat is a butane cooker, so you can prepare home style hot meals while swinging on the hook. Aft of the galley is a comfortable dinette that seats two. The dinette table quickly drops down to convert the dinette into a long single berth. Perfect for a third guest or a child. To starboard is an enclosed helm station with excellent sight lines forward and an overhead hatch for ventilation and visibility to the rig while under sail. The helm station features excellent storage, with a locker under the foot rest and a drawer and locker under the seat. The helm seat converts to a flat space to extend meal preparation room. Aft of the helm station is a head compartment, complete with porta potty, sink, and storage cabinet. Between the head compartment and helm station is a drop down mirror providing a sight line looking aft. Powered by a zero hour Westerbeke 12 HP fresh water cooled diesel engine for safety and reliability. This is a simple and reliable naturally aspirated diesel engine. No computer or turbo problems. No expensive maintenance drills. The engine features quick and easy access by just removing the companionway steps. Engine service will be easy, helping to keep maintenance costs low. Why feed the mechanic? The Racor filter will ensure a clean running and reliable engine. This vessel has both inside and cockpit engine controls. Perfect for cruising in snotty weather and/or docking with full engine control. The Com-Pac features 240 SF of sail area with a 112% roller furling genoa. The main and jib are constructed of white 5 oz. Dacron cloth. Jiffy reefing is standard. She features an 8 stay masthead sloop rig with 5/32 , 1 x 19 stainless steel standing rigging and a 30 high aluminum mast. There is a strong and simple mast tabernacle and a mast hoisting system (complete with instructions!). There are stainless steel chain plates, #8 sheet winches, a #6 halyard winch, genoa tracks with cars, and a stainless steel bow pulpit. The Com-Pac comes standard with a 12 volt electrical package, complete with navigation lights, cabin lights, switch panel, two brand new batteries, and a 12 volt outlet. To ensure cruising safety, a new Garmin 741 Plotter/Sounder (with a 7” touchscreen) has been installed. This installation includes a depth transducer and a GPS antenna. Also installed, to the starboard side of the companionway, is a new ICOM M324 G VHF radio complete with a 3’ whip antenna on the top of the mast.
