The 40 is quite a remarkable boat, apart from offering a huge amount of space with excellent interior design and the feel of a ‘little ship’, the 40 has also made the record books as being the smallest production power boat to circumnavigate in 26 weeks.
A quick note about the mark 2 version; production of the Nordhavn 40 was moved from Southern California to South Coast Marine, China. South Coast’s first hull was 45, this was the start of the Nordhavn mark 2.
