Built in Germany the BAVARIA 30 has GRP hull and deck with non-slip finish where needed. The inboard genoa tracks and rigging make moving forward easy while the stainless steel push-pit and pull-pit connected by twin steel guard wires help keep you safe. The tandem style keel gives a relatively shallow draft at 1.25m.
The boat is powered by a Volvo-Penta D1-20,18 HP diesel engine with sail drive and fixed propeller. Isolated engine compartment with main access under companionway steps. 90L fuel tank with with fuel level indicator. Both standing and running rigging are in good condition with all lines led aft to the cockpit for ease of sail handling. Four Lumar winches handle the halliards and sail sheets. In-mast mainsail furling provides protection for the sail and ease of use while Furlex roller reefing system looks after the headsail. The Elvstrom main and genoa are in good condition. The sacrificial strip on the genoa is in fair condition and will probably need replacing within the next 2 years or so depending on use.
Descending the companionway steps you enter the main saloon which feels light and airy thanks to the warm coloured teak finish woodwork and 4 large opening windows providing light and ventilation. The accommodation is kept cosy and dry by a 4kw Eberspacher diesel heating system with programmable control.
