The Antares 760 is designed by Andre Beneteau and built with technology and materials that have been tried and tested over the whole of Beneteau’s range of boats: integral moulded structure, built in engine mounting, protected keel, propeller guard and much more. In addition, it is designed according to the safety requirements of European and CE certification giving the craft a Recreational Craft Directive (RCD) category of ‘B’.
Boarding from seaward, you enter via the bathing platform through a transom access gate, into the spacious cockpit then proceeding through the floor-to-ceiling tinted sliding door to reveal a one-level carpeted wheelhouse with 1.85 metres headroom (6 ft). From here, you may wine, dine, sleep or simply navigate the boat while enjoying full 360 degree vision in the comfort of an all-weather protected wheelhouse.
To port is a dinette for four which can be converted into a double berth. To starboard there is a fully-equipped galley with “seaviews” (the icebox is located in the companionway to starboard). Going forward, two steps down into the forecabin with 1.75 metres headroom is one double or two single berths, stowage lockers, hanging locker and toilet/shower compartment. The boat is equipped with two-burner gas cooker with stowage under, fridge, stainless sink, hot and cold pressurised water and diesel warm air heater. Galley equipment is included.

Volvo Penta’s fresh water cooled 5-cylinder D3-190 is based on CAN-bus technology as used in cars, trucks and planes, with electronic precision the EVC manages engine, transmission, controls, instrumentation and other onboard functions.
EVC constantly monitors every aspect of the engine and driveline and immediately alerts the skipper if anything unusual happens. With a display at the helm, this is shown in plain text enabling the skipper to take protective measures. Should a serious problem occur, EVC protects the engine by reducing engine power, still enabling you to drive your boat safely.
EVC results in a new level of precision, accuracy and reliability and offers smart functionality for better safety, comfort and performance.
Engine transmission is by stainless steel propeller shaft with a 4-blade propeller for better efficiency. The boat benefits from having the shaft inboard (eliminating the need for an external ‘p’ bracket). In addition, it has a protected skeg and rudder. The stern gland is water lubricated. Top speed is over 20 knots, cruising about 18 knots and planing starts at about 12/13 knots (depending on weather and load conditions). Professionally serviced and maintained from new.
Day fishing or coastal cruising, explore the coast and get a different view on life from your Antarès 760.
