This innovative cruiser shares the same performance hull with the recently introduced 44 Deck Saloon, but with a more traditional deck layout. The boat was drawn by noted designer Glenn Henderson and sports some rather intricate features not usually found on cruising boats of this size. First is a "Bow Hollow", which increases the flow of water in the forward sections and increases hull speed. Second is a "Stern Reflex", which allows a flatter exit wake and less turbulence. This also increases performance. Hunter has learned much from the recent IOR boats and has incorporated some into cruising boats to enhance their performance without sacrificing comfort and the ease of sailing. Why not add a little more speed if you can? The 44 offers superior amenities and comfort. A unique forward stateroom layout featuring a Pullman style double berth provides plenty of space and storage. The salon is full beam and allows for entertaining and dining in grand style. Aft, is the master stateroom, which is enhanced by carrying the wide beam well aft. Inner spring mattresses are standard and the finely finished teak interior and cabinetry are first-class. Upgraded hardware and fabrics really make a difference. CE Certified boats are available for purchase in the United States, upon special order and for increased cost. As stated in our owners manuals, all CE Certified boats will carry a special CE plate, which will be attached to the boat. Boats that are destined for Europe or countries that require CE Certification will have this plate. Boats intended to be sold in the U. S. and most other areas will not carry the plate even though many aspects of the boat comply with the requirements. All hulls and decks are constructed to the same specifications whether they are to be CE Certified or not. The difference is in add-on accessories and different voltage appliances specified for certain countries.
