The Stuart Knockabout is a fiberglass replica of a L. Francis Herreshoff design. It is an amazing daysailer combining ease of sail and care with class and elegance. The design is so great, we actually own one ourselves.
This 2004 Stuart Knockabout is in great condition and has many extras. Included in her sale is a triad trailer, installed electric bilge pump, 2 hp outboard motor, Raymarine TriData, bronze genoa blocks and tracks.
She is currently in indoor storage at Ballentine's and available for viewing with an appointment.

Why we love the SK
A couple years ago our family bought a Stuart, at Ballentine's we maintain 12 of them so we knew the boat well, and thought it would be a good buy and a nice alternative to sailing the big boat for day sails. We have loved her, she is so easy to sail and handle, as well as exciting, responsive, surprisingly fast and quite lovely. A few others in the area have discovered the Stuart and we have a number of people to race against, which has been fun as well. If you would like to come and see the boat, please call or email to make an appointment.
