Turn Point has a folding swim step, not often found, which gives her an overall length with anchors in place of a few inches less than 50’. This allows her to avoid the extra moorage expense of a larger slip (which saves over $2,000 per year if you moor at Shilshole Marina in Seattle for example.)
The combination of underwater shape and propeller choice has given this particular boat a very good cruising fuel economy and comfortable cruising speed of 8+ knots.
