LOVELY LADY is a well outfitted and maintained cruising yacht. She is equipped with a full battened mainsail, roller furling genoa, electric sheet winches, genset, bow thruster, watermaker, solar panels, autopilot and windvane steering. Her three stateroom layout includes comfortable easy chairs opposite the main salon table and a queen sized berth aft with sofa.  Built to Germanischer Lloyds standards, LOVELY LADY is ready to take her owners to any corner of the world’s oceans in safety and comfort.  Delivered new to Seattle, LOVELY LADY cruised the Pacific Northwest before sailing to Mexico, Central America, through the Panama Canal and to the Caribbean.  LOVELY LADY is currently in Curacao on the hard but will be launched and sailed to Florida this fall.

I can’t say enough about Hallberg-Rassy 46’s in general. It’s tough to imagine a finer bluewater cruising sailboat. We enjoyed East and West coast delivery passages aboard these boats in all kinds of weather. Check out the “Voyages” page on our website to follow one particular Seattle to San Francisco trip taken on an HR46. We have had the pleasure of logging thousands of miles, delivering Hallberg-Rassy 46's in Sweden, up and down both coasts of the U.S., and in Mexico. This is far and away one of the nicest bluewater cruising boats available. Comfort, performance, stowage, and excellent construction details on this proven design are just a few of the reasons that the Hallberg-Rassy 46 is such a sought after world cruiser.

U.S. Customs Duty paid.

An excellent resource for Hallberg-Rassy 46 information is John Neal and Amanda Swan-Neal's Mahina Expeditions website. John and Amanda have logged many thousand miles on their Hallberg-Rassy 46. John also wrote a very detailed review of the HR46 in the March 2001 edition of Blue Water Sailing magazine. To quote John's closing paragraph in this review, "In retrospect, I know we made the right decision. The HR46 has met our requirements and has proven a comfortable home. It has been a delight to spend our time teaching, hiking, snorkeling, and meeting people ashore-instead of making repairs. Having a boat that is fun and fast to sail has meant that we can enjoy going for daysails, tacking through narrow passes and negotiating confined anchorages without the need for motoring. And most important, the behavior of the boat offshore and its hardiness in oceangoing conditions are worthy of any skipper's pride."
