During a sea trial conducted on 12/16/16 the following conditions were noted: Bottom had not been repainted and there was some roughness due to paint build up also barnacle residue on the propeller and shaft that would also have negatively impacted performance. Fuel tanks were full and water tanks empty. The engine is rated for 3800 at wide open throttle when sea trialed new turned 3700 and, in so far as can be determined, no modification to the propeller was ever made. At 31-3200 the vessel ran at 11.1 knots and 13.3 knots at wide open throttle when app 3625 rpm was noted on the tachometer. The engine was not "photo-tached" during the sea trial so there may be some calibration required. Normal pressures and temperatures were noted throughout the speed range.
