Well maintained Originally launched in France as "SARASTRO”, she finished 2nd at Antiqua Race week in 1997 and 1st in her division at the "Copa del Rey (Kings Cup) in Spain in 1998. She was purchased by her 2nd owner in August 1999 and underwent a major refit in St Tropez, installing amongst other items: genset, aircons, TV and watermaker. She also had a respray of topsides, removal and complete overhaul of mast and electronics. Renamed as "Hocux Pocux 2”. She left St Tropez in November 1999 to attend the Millennium celebrations in The Maldives before arriving in Asia early 2000. Since her arrival , Hocux Pocux 2 has proved virtually unbeatable in the Premier Cruising Division , winning the Kings Cup in Phuket and Presidents cup in Manila and China Coast Race week in Hong Kong. Her third owner took possession in Jan 2003. Based in Hong Kong HP2 has continued its winning ways throughout Asia adding the China Sea Race & Koh Samui regatta to its list. In Nov 2006 HP2 was sold to her fourth owner and renamed "Nix”. In januari 2007 a refit was executed in Phuket where a new generator and a new Aircon system was installed. A master stateroom was created in the front section. She sailed numerous races making a 1st and a two 2nd places during her three ARC crossings and she was 1st in her class in the 2011 Voiles de St. Barth, 2nd in the 2011 Heineken and the Anguilla Regatta and 3rd at the Antigua Sailing week 2011.
