Mako has been building boats since 1966 and have a reputation of building “revolutionary fishing boats that are the most rugged in the world”. Durability is their trademark and their target is the salt water fisherman, but the boat is obviously suitable for the Great Lakes and other fresh water lakes. This boat is in “perfect” condition and would be great for family day cruising or serious fishing. Forward of the helm station is an open bow for socializing, sunbathing or relaxing. Behind the helm area is the large aft cockpit which can accommodate a number of fishing rigs to include down and out riggers. There is plenty of storage including a live well and rod storage. She’s fast too: 40-48 kts @ 5500 rpm on the top end. The Mariner 200XL is a work horse. This is a one-owner boat purchased new in 1997 and wasn’t ever in the water until then. That’s when she was rigged with a new outboard and trailer.
