Incredible sailing experience! Super stable & fast- Regularly sail 18 to 24 knots- no motion sickness! Condor 40- Wind Dancer- Built in 1990. One of the most beautiful and fastest boats to sail. If you like to sail fast, this is the boat for you! This Condor has regularly sailed at 18 to 24 knots! There are only twenty Condor 40s in the world, making them a very rare boat. Wind Dancer, #20 was the last custom Condor. The electric winches, roller furling and reefing allow easy shorthanded sailing. The new AC, comfortable double berths, great ventilation, large cockpit and steady motion in a seaway make her a joy to cruise long distance. 40’ long with 28’ beam, bullet-proof, and built to take anything that Mother Nature can dish out. Designed to be incredibly stable and survive trans-Atlantic racing in 30ft seas. Their incredible stability makes them safe and fun for everyone! When sailing the Condor, there is little twisting sailboat/powerboat motion. Very stable smooth sailing. The boat will sail 10 knots in 15 knots of wind/ 18 knots in 25 knots of wind. We have sailed at sustained 24 knot speeds. It is a true sport boat in terms of sailing ability. Wind Dancer will make 9 knots under power. The Yamaha 9.9s are long shaft, high thrust versions- new in Dec 14. We have enjoyed Wind Dancer since 1992. Lightly used from 2004 thru 2014. Wind Dancer has now been sailed extensively since substantial refits, with multiple offshore trips in rough weather.
