The new cruising sails are Dacron genoa and main.
The new mast was replaced due to the previous owner fouling a navigation buoy.
The new engine and sail drive unit replaced the old engine and sail drive unit.
As stated the liferaft was serviced in 2014 so it is customary to service it every three years and it is due at the end of the month,
The tender was new I think in 2014 and is clean rarely used with a cover.
The outboard c e label reads 2008 in good condition serviced last year by Crinan marina had 5hrs before I bought it so probably done ten in total.
Winters - she has been on the hard and others only out for a few weeks when she has been raced and cruised. We lived on her for 18 months.
The keel was designed by Hugh Welbourne I still have the receipts for the foundry etc and will try and search them out. Obviously to employ such a renowned designer the desired required effect was to aid the boat in sailing higher, be stiffer and therefore quicker around the race course.
I believe that the engine and Sail drive we're unusually specified to reduce all up weight and also get rid of the prop shaft and associated drag and prop wash, both of which are considerable assets whether racing or cruising.
Replaced the old Volvo Penta 20/30 because the engine and its electrics were becoming a serious issue, we had probably spent something in the region of £5,000 just trying to keep it going and decided that as we were now cruising her it was imperative that we had an engine that we could rely on to keep us safe so we bit the bullet and had the entire engine Sail drive and electrics replaced which has proved to be money very well spent!
