The 340 Express Cruiser proved to be one of Sea Rays most popular models during the 1980s. A big boat by the standards of her day, the 340's sleek styling and spacious interior were her chief attributes. Built on a solid fiberglass hull with prop pockets and a wide 12-foot beam, three floor-plans were offered during her production years, all with the forward stateroom open to the main cabin. The original layout was arranged with the dinette to starboard and a small galley and settee to port. In 1986 Sea Ray came out with a more functional interior featuring a big U-shaped galley as well as a reconfigured dinette. Finally, in 1988 the island berth in the bow stateroom was replaced with a full-width bed. Topside, the 340's single-level cockpit included double-wide helm and companion seats and a removable bench seat at the transom. Large hatches provide good access to the engines. A radar arch, transom door, side exhausts, and a swim platform were standard.
Traditional express arrangement with 6 Berths.
Cabin has a double fixed berth to forward with storage under mattress and draws under bed. Hanging locker, small cupboard and 1 large cupboard with mirrored door and shelving. Reading lights, escape hatch and port hole windows provide light. This area can be shut off from the rest of the cabin using the 3 part curtain. There is 6' 6"plus headroom throughout.

Windows on either side of the cabin both have blinds, along with 2 speakers and escape hatch/vent in the middle proving lots of natural light.
Galley opposite is set in a 'U' shape with a sink and drainer board, mixer tap, 3 gas hob, microwave, large fridge/freezer and LCD flat screen TV. Plenty of worktop space and 5 cupboards and draws.
Head just aft of the galley has an electric flush toilet, sink with mixer tap. Tap will fit a shower hose attachment. 3 Cupboards and large mirror.
Mid Cabin has a fixed double berth layout with a large shelf and reading lights. Mirror along the shelf and side of the bed. 2 draws and small window to cockpit.
Cockpit has helm to starboard with all main controls and gauges. Double helm bench alongside a double bench navigator bench with drinks holders. Behind the helm seat is the wet bar with cold water tap, self draining sink, ice bucket and drinks holder. Along the aft you have a large bench seat with storage underneath and shelving above.
