A Thorneycroft, 4-cylinder diesel is fitted approx. midships. This engine, based on the BMC 1800 block, is variously described as having a 35-38HP output. The heat exchanger appears to have been replaced at some point and a receipt showing the alternator to have been replaced also seen. Engine mounts and engine alignment were attended to in 2012, when a replacement shaft coupling and sterntube packing were also fitted - all professionally done and receipted.
The propeller also balanced and cleaned at the same time.
A single 113 A/Hr deep cycle battery by Numax dates from 2010.
