Gary Muhl designed the Freedom 36 to break the trends of typical sailboats. While the cockpit, deck, and interior share many useful and time honored details, the carbon fiber unstayed rig with self-tending jib make the sailing characteristics of this boat unlike any other you've probably sailed!
With systems designed for short handed sailing, Intrepid is a breeze to sail on your own or with a few friends or family who may or may not be highly skilled. She's powerful, fun to sail, but easy to control.
A large dodger and bimini provide great protection in the cockpit, and with all lines coming aft, there's really no need to go forward.
While some of her electronics are dated, all of the systems on the boat have been maintained and are simple to operate.
Down below, the space feels like that of a much larger boat. She's equipped with an enormous, but very functional galley, two large staterooms, one gigantic head, and a salon that is very comfortable for entertaining. A fold down table provides space for an intimate dinner.
Value for money...you'll be hard pressed to find a boat that's this fun to sail in this size range. You may have never seen a boat like this before, but we encourage you to come take a look!
