Description Hallberg-Rassy 29 Scandinavia:
Sturdy, very seaworthy classic design with beautiful lines made on the boat builder's island of Orust in the Swedish archipelago. With her deep S-Frame, a ballast ratio of approx. 45 % and the traditional bottom with skeg hung rudder the Hallberg-Rassy 29 behaves like a much larger yacht in bad weather conditions. With more than 570 units built the Hallberg-Rassy 29 was a top seller of the well known Swedish yard. Very well made Scandinavian mahogany interior with plenty of stowage below decks and in the large cockpit locker to starboard (layout without quarter berth). Well maintained second hand owner's yacht with numerous investments in recent years. The engine has had a general overhaul by a certified VOLVO PENTA mechanic in 2017.
The Hallberg-Rassy 29 is rigged with a deck stepped, 7/8 fractional SELDEN mast with one set of spreaders. Spinnaker pole, genoa furler, rodkick, sails (new in 2010): Mainsail LEE-Sails MPC sandwich laminate triradial approx. 19 m², furling genoa LEE-Sails MPC sandwich laminate triradial approx. 19 m², blister LEE-Sails approx. 50 m² with gennaker gear and snuffer.
Teak on running decks and in cockpit, sprayhood, cockpit cover, bow fitting with anchor launcher, mooring gear: 15 kg anchor with 30 m anchor chain 8 mm, bathing ladder, laminated rubbing strake on hull.
Saloon with two sofas on folding saloon table. The backrest can be folded up to convert sofas to bunks. Forward cabin with V-shaped double berth, heads compartment in passage to cabin. Galley aft with gas stove (3 burners and oven), sink and icebox. Solid, traditional mahogany interior with plenty of stowage space in lockers, shelves and below berths.
VOLVO PENTA 2002 2-cylinder inboard diesel 18 hp/16 KW with saildrive (seal and gaskets replaced in 2011) and 2-circuit cooling system. 230 V shore power connection with battery charger 12 V, service battery 12 V/75 Ah, starter battery 12 V/55 Ah, battery monitor, heater (kerosene stove), stainless steel holding tank with sea-discharge.
