The Catalina 34 is an immensely popular family cruiser. This one has been given some nice upgrades and maintenance attention this season including new Garmin Color GPS/Plotter and GPS interfaced VHF among other items. Cabin sole refinished this past winter.
Generous accommodation for up to seven in a 2 two stateroom layout. Varnished teak interior with varnished teak & holly sole. Four large fixed and six opening ports and two large hatches provide abundant natural light and ventilation.
Starting forward is forward stateroom with large V-berth with filler. Below which there is storage in drawers and drop face lockers as well as some bin type storage. Aft of the berth is a bureau with drawers to starboard and a hanging locker to port.
Continuing aft is the Main Cabin with generous U-shaped settee and pedestal mounted drop leaf table to starboard. The settee converts to a double berth and has storage under as well as behind the seat backs and in shelves and lockers above. Opposite to port is a straight settee with again, storage under, behind the seat backs and above in lockers. At the aft end of the port settee is the aft facing Nav. Station with chart table and electrical distribution panels and locker. Just aft of the Nav. Station is a 1/2 height hanging locker.
Opposite to starboard is the L-shaped galley featuring a two burner gimballed CNG stove with oven, generous ice box, double basin stainless steel sinks with H&C pressure and manual salt water. There is good storage and generous counter space.
Aft of the galley is the private aft cabin with huge thwartship queen berth with storage under, just forward of which is a dressing seat with storage under. There is also a locker with shelves and mirror aft.
The head is located adjacent to the companionway opposite the galley and is large and comfortable to use, featuring vanity with stainless steel sink and H&C pressure water, manual W.C. plumbed via a Y valve to the holding tank, ensuite shower with separate sump and good storage space.

Fresh water cooled 25 HP Universal diesel turns a two blade fixed propeller on a 1" shaft through a 2:1 reduction gear.
Spring 2015 the following work was done to the engine: Racor fuel filter: New thermostat, new raw water pump, new exhaust hose with thermal jacket to the Aqualift muffler, heat exchanger boiled out.
White fiberglass hull, partially cored with end grain balsa, blue cove and boot stripe. The bottom is finished with Micron CSC ablative blue anti fouling. Partially cored two tone fiberglass deck light grey on white with molded in non-skid.
Generous cockpit with plenty of room for six or more, wide side decks with stainless steel stanchions, bow and stern rails, gates P&S.
