This is a great opportunity to purchase a Beneteau First 30E which is a fast cruiser/racer. It is an ideal yacht for a family or someone to sail single handed. It has the advantages of the rigging being replaced only five years ago and new sails in 2015. It has been well cared for by the current and previous owners. Well worth viewing. Owner is keen to sell as he wants to move up to a large yacht to do some more longer distance sailing.
This Beneteau First 30E offers seven berths in two cabins and the saloon. It has good headroom at just over 6ft. There is a V berth in the forward cabin with an infill to make into a double berth, with storage underneath the berth.
Aft of the forward cabin is the heads compartment to Port with a marine toilet and wet locker behind. Opposite to starboard is a wash basin with cold freshwater.
The saloon has good sized settee berths on both sides with a central table with drop-down leaves which opens to easily accommodate seven people seated around it. The Port settee berth pulls out to make a double berth. The saloon has lots of storage space.
Aft of the saloon area and to Starboard is a U-shaped Galley with a 2 burner stove, 12V fridge and a stainless steel sink with cold water. The galley has lots of storage space. Crockery and cutlery included.
There is an aft cabin to Port which has a full sized double berth with locker space and also has a genius chart table that pulls up to make into a full sized chart table with an array of instruments including AIS, VHF Radio, Chartplotter and storage for charts and navigation books. There is also side access to the engine.
The companionway steps led up to the cockpit which has good locker space and room for the crew to sit in comfort.

This Beneteau First 30E has a Volvo MD7B, two cylinder, 17hp diesel engine located under companionway steps. It has a shaft drive via P-bracket to a two blade fixed propeller. Seawater cooled. Single lever Morse controls close of the helm position. 20 litre stainless steel fuel tank. Engine was professionally serviced in July 2014, Self-serviced since. This yacht will cruise at 6knots and has a maximum speed of 7knots which gives a range of approx. 290 nautical miles.
2x 12 volt 75AH batteries (1x engine + 1 x domestic) charging from alternator and battery charger via 240v ring main shore power system.
Collins tandem deep fin cast iron keel with balanced spade rudder with tiller steering.
Built by Beneteau and designed by Jean Berret. White GRP hull and decks with moulded-in non-slip surfaces. Cast iron tandem deep fin keel. Tiller steering to spade hung rudder. Anodised aluminium toe rails. Stainless steel stanchions, pulpit and pushpit quarters. Walk through transom gate to bathing platform. Teak battens to cockpit seats and transom platform. Last surveyed in 2011. Last out of the water in May 2015 when the yacht was antifouled, anodes changed and hull polished.
