Beta Marine 16hp inboard diesel engine fitted around 8 years ago by Tollesbury Marine Engineering. 8 gallon fuel tank. Shaft drive to 3 blade fixed propeller. Alternator charging to 2 x 12v batteries. Cruising speed under engine around 4.5 knots with a maximum of about 6.3 knots.

"Clearwing" was purchased by her present owner in 1987 as the third owner. Her owner tells us that she has proved to be a safe, reliable and roomy family cruiser, ideal for the East Coast with shallow draft and the ability to dry out. Her owner has made a number of improvements over the years but feels he is now too old to make good use of the boat.
