The Downeaster 41 Pilot House is an American made, long range traditional bluewater cruiser. She is a solid boat built to Lloyds 100 A1 standards. Her large stainless steel framed windows provide excellent all-around visibility from the salon and pilot house. Her bow sprit, wine glass stern and lap-strake topsides will garner approval from the most discerning traditionalist. Her full keel adds to her sea-kindly motion and her ability to cope with heavy weather. The cockpit is very comfortable with plenty of seating and good back rests.
Indian Summer has taken excellent care of her longtime owner, through the many miles of safe passage that swept past her keel, to countless destinations and innumerable hours of adventure. Indian Summer is ready for her next owners to realize their dreams.

The cables to the interior steering have been removed but could easily be reinstalled. Steering from inside is still possible with the remote auto pilot.
The settee cushions and the berth cushions are in excellent condition. The Sunbrella covered cockpit cushions, with piping on the edges are also in very good condition.
Indian Summer’s cockpit provides extraordinary lounging comfort whether underway, at the dock or swinging on the hook.
