1978 Pearson 323, re-powered Yanmar 3YM30, many cruising upgrades, great condition
If you're looking for an affordable cruiser for the Bahamas, with renowned capability and a proven design, this is the boat for you. The vessel shows very well and is one of the best condition P323's you'll find.
Vixen is hull #107 of this very popular William Shaw design of Portsmouth, Rhode Island. The Pearson 323 is considered a very sturdy, long-range coastal cruiser. It has a solid fiberglass hull, skeg hung rudder, modified full keel and shallow draft, perfect for the Bahamas or FL Keys cruising (draws only 4'5'').
Vixen has had many upgrades in the last few years. All new upholstery throughout, a new cabin sole, new teak flooring, upgraded Force 10 3-burner stove/oven, new fans, cockpit dodger and full Raymarine electronics.
The bottom paint was done at haul out in May 2015. Vessel also has a folding, 3-blade prop with plenty of push from the repowered 30hp Yanmar with 900 hours.
She can sleep 5 with a v-berth forward, a single to port on the settee and a double to starboard with the dining table converted.
