The philosophy for this boat was over the past 21 years: Keep her updated with all the good equipment available today, but avoid over-engineering, and avoid to modify the boat away from the original looks and concept.

Mast, boom, furler, and rig
1990 Reckmann aluminium mast. Single extrusion, no splice. Triple spreaders, open tubular spreader profiles. Snow white painted with Alexseal. New paint in 2007/2008.
I, J, P and E are unchanged to the original rig, so no changes for racing the boat.
Harken fullbatten track system and full batten main. Harken spinnaker pole track with rope lift and single car with receptacle for Hall Spars carbon spinnaker pole.
Single reef Reckmann tapered aluminium boom. Alexseal snow white painted. Single reef equipment was taken out, can be re-installed at any time. Lazy jack system lead into the mast and operated at the mast.
Triple spreader full discontinuous rod rig, with Navtec tip cups, runners and checkstays. Hydraulic Navtec backstay adjuster. Wichard ratchet adjuster on the wire babystay. Navtec backstay insulators.
Manual Reckmann headstay furler. Headstay diameter increased to N-22, stronger than the original 10mm wire, to reduce headstay sag.
Hall Spars carbon spinnaker pole, taken off the boat. Deck holders also taken off, but are available. Easy job to re-install them.
All halyards and sheets Marlow type, 10mm Dyneema. Runners and checkstays Marlow dyneema D12, core only, no cover.
Loose footed cross cut HOOD Vectron mainsail. Quite old, but acceptable in shape and in very good status, technically. On a Harken fullbatten car system. 5 round extruded sail battens. Grey canvas cover for the mainsail.
Quantum furling genoa 2, triangular Hydranet. Separate gray stay cover for the furled headsail.
Hood asymmetric cruising spinnaker, triradial, blue - white, Hood squeezer.
Hood dacron furling genoa 4, with blue leech / foot UV protection in blue.
Still the original Neco auto pilot. Works satisfactory. Motor / gear unit serviced and oil changed a few years ago. Spare Neco CPU, in case the one in use fails, or as sparpart source.
Simrad GPS plotter in the navi, slave daylight screen in the cockpit. Installed in the cockpit front wall, where B&G is.
Still the original B&G wind instrument system, which requires replacement. I bought a used B&G Hercules system, which is awaiting installation. Includes a masthead unit, etc..
Stereo system with loud speakers in the saloon. Loud speakers in the cockpit side lockers work OK, but require replacing (corrosion).
Navigation lights. Side lights, stern light, steam light, masthead 3-color-light, deck light, and a masthead anchor LED light.
Batteries / Chargers
2 of starter batteries AGM with about 110 AH (2x 55 AH). 7 years old. in good shape.
Increased service battery capacity. 3x 95 AH batteries in the standard battery box, and additional 2x 95 AH batteries underneath the portside owners cabin berth. Total service battery capacity now 5x 95 = 475 AH. Exide Gel batteries, new in spring 2016 (brand new).
2 pieces of 230V battery chargers. A Leab ABC 12V / 50 A for the GEL batteries, and a Sterling Procharge D 1250 (50A) system for the starter batteries. Non standard 80A generator on the engine.
Voltronic 400 A battery management system, new in 2016.
Two manual bilge pumps, a Whale Gusher 10 (cockpit), and a Whale Gusher Urchin (saloon), the latter new in 2014. All hoses changed.
Fridge - the original fridge box, but compressor changed, and larger cooling plate.
Pantry top upgraded with a Corian surface.
Force 10 gas oven, 3 flames, electric gas shut-off system.
Heater - Eberspächer D5L diesel / air heating system. New about 5 years ago, serviced 2 years ago. New air hoses.
Small 600 W inverter for 230 V - for computer and phone charging, and small drill machines.
