Amoreni has been designed and laid out for safe, comfortable extended cruising and living aboard. She has beautiful lines, easy to handle sail plan and properly powered for a motor sailor.
Design features include a trawler bow, canoe stern, pilot house with high, molded bulwarks and easily traveled side decks.
The cockpit features a "V" shaped settee. The bench seats are very comfortable with deep seat wells and high coamings for comfortable sailing and relaxing at anchor. There is generous storage under each bench settee. All the lines lead aft to sheet stoppers and winches for safe, easy solo sailing. A cockpit canopy provides generous protection form the sun. Wide side decks, well placed handrails and the molded bulwark provide safe easy access for an aft while docking an anchoring.
Treadmaster has been well placed on the flat surfaces to provide sure footing on the side decks and coachroof top. Forward is a clean, open fore deck, encompassed by the high bulwark and stainless bow rail. The electric windlass is easily controlled via the foot switches on the bow or with the control panel at the helm. The large plow anchor stows on the built-in bow roller and the chain is deployed to the below decks chain locker. The chain locker has been divided into two halves allowing for un-tangled chain/rode stowage for two anchors.
Amoreni has a solid feel under foot whether under sail, motor or swaying at anchor. You get a true confident ease from her solid construction and mass.
Her sail plan has been designed to obtain maximum performance and maximum sail handling ease. Farnet furling systems have been installed for the main and mizzen and a new Harken furling system has been installed for the genoa. All lines lead aft allowing all the sail handling to be done from the safety of the cockpit.
Entrance to the pilot house is via a sliding cabin door from the cockpit. The pilot house is quite accommodating for passage making with a full helm station and amazing 360 viewing. The chart desk and electronics are within easy reach of the helm. A large "L" shaped settee with removable dinette provides comfortable seating while underway and while entertaining dockside. The sole easily lifts to give full access to the Deutz diesel and other systems. Going below is easily navigated via teak steps to the salon. A teak companionway door offers privacy below.
Below decks Amoreni is well thought out and provides all the amenities needed for life aboard. Multiple ports and hatches provide abundant natural light and ventilation. Beautiful teak woods give her a very warm, welcoming interior. The main salon features a large dinette that easily converts to a queen sized berth and a long bench settee that converts to a single. Forward is the owner's cabin with a double berth, standing headroom and easy access to the forward hatch. There is generous storage throughout the boat - galley, salon and forward cabin.
