Beautifully and totally re-fitted Dutch build Kotter. A truly head turner where ever she is. This vessel has been refitted in 2015 at Nautical Center Nicolaas Witsen specialized in the refit of classic yacht. The refit has been performed in it's most extended form; two brand new Perkins engine's and propulsion systems, the total electronical installation has been renewed, new Teak decks, all paint and varnish works has been renewed, new bathroom, all interior has been carpented again and painted etc. etc. You could say that only the hull is from 1972 the rest is state of the art 2017 but still in classic style. This is now a yacht which is fully equipped with the latest technology and meets all modern requirements with a feel of a classic yacht. Roundbilged, with bilge keel and teak superstructure. Interior Makore wood (brown/red), new upholstery, 4 Burners ceramic cooking.
Not a component that has not been in the hands of a technician / mechanic, carpenter, electrician or painter. The hull has been completely made bare and covered with epoxy and a new paint system was set up. The entire teak deck and cabin roof has been completely renewed. All the woodwork is made bare and repainted.
The interior has also had a full make over. There are three cabins in the bow with a large fully renovated bathroom. In the stern there is a guest cabin with private bathroom. A total of eight berths. The kitchen has been completely renewed. It is located in the front part of the salon and is separated of the salon by a large table with matching chairs. This creates an open, welcoming and cozy space with view outside of all seats.
The two main engines were renewed like the entire installation. Perkins was chosen because of the high reliability of these low speed motors and low decibel. The motors may be operated remotely. The entire electrical system was reconstructed in 2015. Everything is constructed twice in order to optimize the operational reliability of the yacht. 8 Board batteries 230 Ah AGM. 2x Alternator 90 Ah.
The yacht has two wooden masts. The front mast can be used to convert a dinghy from and on deck. This has an electric winch with which this can be easily carried out. Because of these two masts this yacht gets her special appearance. Brown support sail.
All navigation equipment is Simrad, plotter, radar, autopilot and is installed so that it fits into the authentic feel of the helm. Watertight door. Fire extinguishers. No gas on board.
