Built in 1966 by Elliot Yachts of California the vessel is 73' length overall vessel designed for coastal and offshore cruising and fishing. The vessel has been significantly upgraded to modern standards with many new systems and improvements. Below deck vessel layout/accommodations (bow to stern): Forward stateroom with guest quarters and berths for four . The passageway along centerline allows access to the second guest stateroom with upper and lower berths and en-suite head with electric Headhunter toilets, shower and sink. The owner's stateroom is to port and is equipped with a large berth, storage, desk area with drawers, and en-suite head with electric Headhunter toilet, sink, and separate shower. A pantry area is to starboard and a drawer/storage unit is positioned adjacent in the aft portion of the passageway. Up a few steps is the main cabin level with galley to port with wraparound type bar/countertop, side- by-side type refrigerator freezer unit, two burner electric stovetop with grilling unit attached, icemaker, microwave/convection oven, coffee maker, toaster, two sinks and storage. The main cabin has a large seating area to port and an entertainment center to starboard with large Television, DVD, VCR, and stereo receiver and speakers.
Access to the wheelhouse is via stairs to starboard in the main cabin. The wheelhouse is fully equipped with state of the art navigation and electronics and steering station as well settee/berth, fax, and computer system. The aft portion of the wheelhouse allows access to the flying bridge via stairs – the flybridge is also equipped with a full navigation station and helm.
Aft and above the flying bridge is the tuna tower that also has full helm station and electronics. The deck over main cabin is reserved for personal watercraft/skifff – a Easy 1500 3-way hydraulic davit is also on the deck and allows for easy lowering and raising of boats and gear and a remote helm station is wired for this deck also with bow thruster control and gear and throttle controls.
The aft deck is equipped with a large 10+-scoop bait tank system, built in tackle center, wash- downs, fishing gear, counters, and storage. The entire cockpit has been upgraded. The swim platform is large and custom and the transom has a door. The side decks are easily accessed and lead to the foredeck which is equipped with a bait tank, built in storage, sealed, reinforced anchor locker area, Maxell 3500 electric windlass and custom, heavily reinforced anchor platform.
The vessel hull is constructed of (5) layers of 1⁄2" plywood fastened with galvanized fasteners and covered with fiberglass laminate. The decks and cabin are of sandwich construction of fiberglass- covered plywood. Interior furnishings are uniformly molded of plywood. The deck, cabin and cockpit areas utilize similar construction. The hull to deck joint is bonded, sealed and mechanically fastened. Secondary supporting bulkheads, longitudinal supports and cabin furnishings are of plywood and hardwoods and are laminated to the hull along their respective lengths. Through-hulls below the waterline are of bronze construction and each equipped with a seavalve.
